Joseph Michael "Joe" Manganiello, was born on December 28, 1976. Joe is an American film and theatre actor. Joe holds a BFA in acting from the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. Joe played Flash Thompson in the original Spider-Man film series, and played recurring roles in televisions on ER, How I Met Your Mother and One Tree Hill, before landing his breakout role as werewolf Alcide Herveaux on the HBO True Blood for which he has garnered both popular and critical praise. In 2011, Joe Manganiello was voted "Favorite Pop Culture Werewolf of All Time" by the readers of Entertainment Weekly.

 

 

 

He has since split his time between True Blood and feature films such as the Steven Soderbergh directed Magic Mike and the film What To Expect When You're Expecting.

Alexander Skarsgård Goes Full Frontal Nude on True Blood’s Season Six Finale

A vampire got fully naked full frontal, in fact by the end of Sunday night's episode. Alexander Skarsgård, who plays True Blood's resident bad-boy vampire extraordinaire Eric Northman, shed his clothing for a revealing and critical scene on the HBO series' season six finale on Sunday; August 18, 2013

The chiseled 6'4" Swedish actor literally lit up the screen during the explosive episode after his character Eric burst into flames while enjoying a good book in snowy Sweden completely in the buff.

Though a few choice flames and creative editing helped to shield bits and pieces of Skarsgard's bits and pieces, the 36 year old actor still showed off a substantial portion of his man parts as he leapt off the chaise lounge chair and dashed toward the camera.

The camera cut before his fate was completely sealed, though fans speculate that there is little chance that Skarsgård character could have survived his spontaneous combustion. So what caused Eric's sudden fiery conundrum?

Well let’s see, earlier in the episode, fellow bad boy vampire Warlow (Rob Kazinsky) was in hot pursuit of Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) to make her his faerie vampire bride. Though he was persistent even at one point holding Sookie in a wrestling hold a turn of events led Sookie's brother Jason (Ryan Kwanten) to drive a stake through his heart, killing him for good.

With Warlow's death, all of the vampires appear to lose their ability to live in the daylight though, fortunately for the vamps in Bon Temps, it's nighttime at the moment of Warlow's death, so they are unaffected.

Alexander Skarsgard's character, Eric, however, is on the other side of the globe and catching a few rays in Sweden and thereby suffers a fiery fate.
